PeriodQ2 FY2026
Published
Uber Technologies reported $14.19 billion in revenue for Q2 FY2026, the quarter ended June 30, 2026, up 12.2% from a year earlier, and net income attributable to the company of $2.39 billion, up 76.7%. Income from operations was $1.89 billion, up 30.3%, so most of the increase in net income came from below the operating line, chiefly a non-cash gain recognized on Uber's stake in Delivery Hero SE when that holding moved to equity method accounting. Delivery segment revenue of $5.25 billion was up 27.9%, while reported growth in the larger Mobility segment was held down by a United Kingdom business model change that moved driver payments out of cost of revenue and into a reduction of revenue.

Notes
- Periods reported here are exactly the periods the two filings print. The FY2025 10-K (accession 0001543151-26-000015) presents statements of operations and cash flows for FY2023, FY2024 and FY2025, but balance sheets only as of December 31, 2024 and December 31, 2025 - so FY2023 carries an income statement and a cash flow statement and no balance sheet. The Q2 2026 10-Q (accession 0001543151-26-000032) presents three-month columns for the quarters ended June 30, 2025 and June 30, 2026, six-month columns for both years, and a balance sheet as of June 30, 2026; there is no balance sheet as of June 30, 2025, so the year-ago quarter carries none.
- The 10-Q's condensed consolidated statements of cash flows are presented on a six-month basis only. The discrete three-month cash flow figures for the quarters ended June 30, 2026 and June 30, 2025 therefore come from the condensed consolidated statements of cash flows in Uber's second-quarter 2026 earnings release, furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to the Form 8-K filed August 5, 2026 (accession 0001543151-26-000027), which prints three-month and six-month columns side by side. Each quarter records this as cash_flow_source_accession; its income statement and balance sheet come from the 10-Q.
- Uber does not present a gross profit subtotal, and its cost of revenue is stated exclusive of the depreciation and amortization shown as a separate expense line. No gross profit or gross margin figure is reported here for that reason. Income from operations is the first profitability subtotal the company itself strikes, and it is the line that reads the operating business.
- Other income (expense), net is large and volatile, and it sits below income from operations. It was a gain of $1,360 million in FY2023 and $1,128 million in FY2024, an expense of $68 million in FY2025, an expense of $152 million across the first six months of 2026 and a gain of $1,342 million in the second quarter of 2026 alone. The second-quarter 2026 figure includes a $1.1 billion gain recognized on remeasuring Uber's pre-existing stake in Delivery Hero SE immediately before it transitioned to equity method accounting, after Uber bought a further interest for $2.3 billion in cash and reached 24.99% ownership. That is also why equity method investments on the balance sheet rose from $287 million at December 31, 2025 to $3,773 million at June 30, 2026. Read income from operations, not net income, for the operating trend.
- FY2024 and FY2025 income statements carry net income tax benefits rather than expenses ($5,758 million and $4,346 million respectively), so net income exceeds pre-tax income in both years. The cash flow statements show these are overwhelmingly non-cash deferred tax movements (deferred income taxes of negative $6,027 million in FY2024 and negative $4,779 million in FY2025), while cash income taxes paid were $324 million and $345 million.
- Diluted earnings per share is not struck on net income attributable to Uber Technologies, Inc. The per-share notes in both filings deduct an assumed net loss attributable to Freight Holding contingently issuable shares (and, in FY2023, add back interest and discount amortization on the 2025 convertible notes) to arrive at diluted net income attributable to common stockholders. That numerator is reported separately as net_income_attributable_to_common_stockholders_diluted; net_income is net income attributable to Uber Technologies, Inc. as the statements of operations present it.
- total_debt is short-term debt plus long-term debt, net of current portion. Short-term debt as of December 31, 2024 is the $1,150 million current portion of long-term debt - the 2025 Convertible Notes, which matured in 2025. The balance sheet reports that amount inside accrued and other current liabilities rather than on a separate line, and Note 8, Long-Term Debt and Credit Arrangements, in the FY2025 10-K (accession 0001543151-26-000015) discloses it separately from the $8,347 million of total long-term debt. As of December 31, 2025 the current portion is nil, printed as such in both filings. The June 30, 2026 balance sheet presents $1,997 million of short-term debt alongside $10,726 million of long-term debt.
- free_cash_flow is net cash provided by operating activities less purchases of property and equipment, which is the definition Uber itself uses. It is derived here for the annual and six-month views; the quarterly figures agree with the free cash flow reconciliation Uber publishes in its second-quarter 2026 earnings release ($2,792 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 and $2,475 million a year earlier).
- trailing_twelve_months is derived, not filed: FY2025 plus the six months ended June 30, 2026, less the six months ended June 30, 2025. It carries no per-share or share-count figures, because weighted-average share counts cannot be added across periods.
- Uber reports three reportable segments - Mobility, Delivery and Freight. Only segment revenue is carried here. Beginning in the first quarter of 2026 Uber changed its segment performance measure from Segment Adjusted EBITDA to Segment Operating Income and recast the comparative period, so the two filings' segment profit measures are not comparable with one another; segment revenue is unaffected by that change. Segment revenue is a disaggregation of consolidated revenue and excludes no corporate amounts, so the three segments sum to total revenue.
- Redeemable non-controlling interests are presented outside equity. The balance sheet balances as total assets = total liabilities + redeemable non-controlling interests + total equity, where total_equity is the all-in figure that already includes non-redeemable non-controlling interests.
- Uber has never declared or paid a cash dividend on its common stock and states it does not expect to in the foreseeable future, so no dividend line is reported. Capital returned to shareholders takes the form of buybacks: $6,523 million of common stock repurchased in FY2025 and $3,529 million in the first six months of 2026.
Uncertainties
- The three-month cash flow figures for the quarters ended June 30, 2026 and June 30, 2025 are taken from the earnings release exhibit to the Form 8-K filed August 5, 2026, not from the 10-Q, because the 10-Q presents cash flows only for the six-month periods. Earnings release financial statements are unaudited and are not a 10-Q, though these agree with the 10-Q on every six-month column that appears in both.
- Stock-based compensation for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 is $550 million in the earnings release's cash flow statement and $549 million in the same release's Adjusted EBITDA reconciliation. The cash flow statement figure is the one carried here.
- No balance sheet is reported for FY2023 or for the quarter ended June 30, 2025. Neither filing presents one at those dates, so none is published rather than inferred.
- No income statement or cash flow figures are reported for the first quarter of 2026 or for any quarter of FY2025 other than the June quarter. Those quarters are not printed on the face of either filing this record is built from.

FAQ · Uber Technologies financial statements
How much revenue did Uber report in Q2 FY2026?
Uber Technologies reported $14.19 billion in revenue for Q2 FY2026, the quarter ended June 30, 2026. That is up 12.2% from $12.65 billion in the same quarter a year earlier, growth that was reduced by a United Kingdom business model change adopted at the start of the year, under which driver payments in those markets are recorded as a reduction of revenue rather than in cost of revenue.
Is Uber profitable?
Yes. Uber Technologies reported $1.89 billion of income from operations in Q2 FY2026 and net income attributable to the company of $2.39 billion, up 76.7% from a year earlier. The operating result was up 30.3%, so the much larger increase in net income owed more to a non-cash gain on Uber's Delivery Hero investment than to the operating business.
What was Uber's earnings per share in Q2 FY2026?
Uber Technologies reported diluted earnings per share of $1.17 for Q2 FY2026, up 85.7% from $0.63 in the same quarter a year earlier. That figure includes a non-cash gain recognized on Uber's stake in Delivery Hero SE, which is not part of income from operations.
How fast is Uber's delivery business growing?
Uber Technologies' Delivery segment generated $5.25 billion of revenue in Q2 FY2026, up 27.9% from $4.10 billion a year earlier. Delivery grew faster than Uber's Mobility and Freight segments in the quarter and, on a reported basis, was the largest contributor to the company's revenue growth, a comparison that reflects a United Kingdom business model change that reduced Mobility's reported revenue.

How this page was built
This page was built from three of Uber Technologies, Inc.'s own filings with the SEC, read one at a time. Nothing on it is taken from a pre-tagged dataset, a data vendor or another website. The figures are on the company's own fiscal calendar and in actual dollars, as the filings report them. Where the filings do not support a figure, the record says so instead of reporting a zero; this period names four such gaps.
A single company files thousands of pages with the SEC in a year, and no two companies file them the same way, so the reading and the assembly here are done by AI rather than by rules that break on the differences. Every pass is then audited back against the filings it came from before the page is published, and anything the filings do not support is left out and named rather than filled in. AI can still make mistakes. That is why the accession numbers are printed: the filing is the authority, and this page is a route to it.
