Notes
- Template: standard industrial. TE Connectivity makes connectivity and sensor products and reports two segments, Transportation Solutions and Industrial Solutions. Segment net sales and segment operating income are shown under segment_results for every period, and they sum to the consolidated totals.
- Fiscal calendar: TE Connectivity's fiscal year ends on the last Friday of September. FY2025 ended September 26, 2025, FY2024 on September 27, 2024 and FY2023 on September 29, 2023. Q3 FY2026 is the quarter ended June 26, 2026; Q3 FY2025 is the quarter ended June 27, 2025.
- Coverage: annual figures come from the FY2025 10-K (accession 0001104659-25-109150), which prints three fiscal years of income statement and cash flow and two year-end balance sheets (FY2025 and FY2024); FY2023 therefore carries no balance sheet. Quarterly and nine-month figures come from the Q3 FY2026 10-Q (accession 0001104659-26-086509). The 10-Q's balance sheet is as of June 26, 2026 and September 26, 2025, so Q3 FY2025 carries no balance sheet; the September 26, 2025 column matches the 10-K's FY2025 balance sheet line for line.
- Quarterly cash flow: the 10-Q prints its cash flow statement for the nine months only. The three-month cash flow figures for Q3 FY2026 and Q3 FY2025 are taken from the consolidated statement of cash flows in the Q3 FY2026 earnings release, Exhibit 99.1 to the 8-K filed July 22, 2026 (accession 0001104659-26-085589), as recorded in each quarter's cash_flow_source_accession. That release's nine-month columns match the 10-Q exactly.
- Free cash flow (free_cash_flow) is computed here as net cash provided by operating activities less capital expenditures, the same way for every period; neither the 10-K nor the 10-Q prints a free cash flow figure. TE Connectivity's own non-GAAP free cash flow, shown under non_gaap.free_cash_flow_company_defined, deducts net capital expenditures (capital expenditures less proceeds from the sale of property, plant, and equipment) and excludes voluntary pension contributions and special items. That is why it reads $883 million for Q3 FY2026 against $881 million here, and $2,171 million against $2,165 million for the nine months. The company-defined figures come from the earnings release (accession 0001104659-26-085589) and exist only for the quarters and nine-month periods. For these four periods the release's reconciliation shows no adjustment other than net capital expenditures, so the gap between the two measures equals the proceeds from property sales.
- Total debt is short-term debt plus long-term debt as printed on the balance sheet. The 10-Q's liquidity discussion states the same totals: $5,632 million at June 26, 2026 and $5,694 million at September 26, 2025.
- Sign convention: income statement expenses are stored as positive amounts, except interest expense, other income (expense) and income tax, which keep the sign the statement prints (a tax expense is negative, a tax benefit positive). Cash flow lines keep the statement's signs, so capital expenditures, repurchases and dividends paid are negative.
- Gross profit is the line the filing captions 'Gross margin'. Diluted EPS (diluted_eps) is the per-share net income figure; diluted_eps_continuing_operations is shown separately. In FY2023 they differ by the $0.02 per share from discontinued operations.
- Per-share dividends (dividends_paid_per_share) are cash dividends paid per ordinary share: $2.72, $2.48 and $2.30 for fiscal 2025, 2024 and 2023 from Note 17 of the 10-K, and $0.78 / $0.71 for the quarters and $2.20 / $2.01 for the nine months from the 10-Q's dividends table. The 10-Q's shareholders' equity statement shows a different per-share dividend for the nine months, $2.27, against $2.20 paid; both show $0.78 for the quarter.
- Taxes: the 10-K's MD&A reports an effective tax rate of 42.5% for fiscal 2025 and (14.2)% for fiscal 2024; FY2024's income tax line is a $397 million benefit. The 10-Q reports effective tax rates of 23.0% and 24.6% for the Q3 FY2026 and Q3 FY2025 quarters, and 18.1% and 48.9% for the nine-month periods. The filings discuss the items behind these rates in their income tax notes.
- The trailing twelve months ended June 26, 2026 are derived as FY2025 plus the nine months of FY2026 less the nine months of FY2025. They cover additive income statement and cash flow lines only; no per-share figures or share counts are derived for that period.
- Share counts are weighted-average basic and diluted shares as printed in millions on the income statement. The 10-Q cover reports 289,513,228 ordinary shares outstanding as of July 20, 2026, and the 10-K cover reports 294,189,246 as of November 6, 2025.
- No stock splits occurred in the periods covered. TE Connectivity's ordinary shares trade directly on the NYSE (it is not an ADR) and it reports in US dollars, so no split, ADS or currency adjustment applies. The company changed its place of incorporation from Switzerland to Ireland through a merger completed on September 30, 2024, at the start of fiscal 2025. Its shareholders' equity statements show that change moving $136 million from the share capital amount to accumulated earnings, with no change in total equity.
Uncertainties
- Three-month cash flow figures for Q3 FY2026 and Q3 FY2025 come from the earnings release rather than the 10-Q, which prints nine-month cash flows only. They could not be reconciled to a 10-Q three-month column because none exists.

How this page was built
This page was built from three of TE Connectivity plc's own filings with the SEC, read one at a time. Nothing on it is taken from a pre-tagged dataset, a data vendor or another website. The figures are on the company's own fiscal calendar and in actual dollars, as the filings report them. Where the filings do not support a figure, the record says so instead of reporting a zero; this period names one such gap.
A single company files thousands of pages with the SEC in a year, and no two companies file them the same way, so the reading and the assembly here are done by AI rather than by rules that break on the differences. Every pass is then audited back against the filings it came from before the page is published, and anything the filings do not support is left out and named rather than filled in. AI can still make mistakes. That is why the accession numbers are printed: the filing is the authority, and this page is a route to it.
