Deere & Company reported $12.61 billion in net sales and revenues for Q3 FY2026, the quarter ended August 2, 2026, up 4.9% from a year earlier, and net income attributable to Deere of $1.38 billion, up 7.0%, or $5.10 per diluted share. Equipment net sales were $11.00 billion and segment operating profit was $1.86 billion, up 18.4%, as higher construction and forestry and small agriculture and turf shipment volumes and favorable price realization, together with tariff recoveries recognized in the quarter, outweighed lower large agriculture volumes in Brazil and Europe. Deere's nine-month earnings still trail the prior year, largely on a higher effective tax rate against a year-earlier period that carried favorable special tax items.

Notes
- Deere & Company is a hybrid business: an equipment manufacturer (Production & Precision Agriculture, Small Agriculture & Turf, Construction & Forestry) plus a captive finance arm (Financial Services, which includes John Deere Capital Corporation). Its income statement therefore separates net sales of equipment from finance and interest income, and its balance sheet carries a large book of financing receivables and equipment on operating leases funded by short-term, securitization and long-term borrowings. The line items here follow that structure rather than a plain manufacturer template.
- Coverage: the periods reported here are the ones the two filings below put on their face. The FY2025 10-K (accession 0001104659-25-122321) presents income statements and cash flow statements for fiscal 2025, 2024 and 2023 and balance sheets as of November 2, 2025 and October 27, 2024 only, so fiscal 2023 carries no balance sheet here. The Q3 FY2026 10-Q (accession 0001104659-26-102213) presents three-month and nine-month income statements for both years, balance sheets at August 2, 2026, November 2, 2025 and July 27, 2025, and cash flow statements for the nine months only.
- Deere uses a 52/53-week fiscal year ending on the last Sunday of the reporting period, near the end of October. Fiscal 2025 contained 53 weeks; fiscal 2024 and fiscal 2023 contained 52 weeks. The extra week fell in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2025, so fiscal 2025 totals and the trailing-twelve-month figures below cover 371 days rather than 364.
- "gross_profit" is net sales less cost of sales - the margin on equipment and parts. It deliberately excludes finance and interest income, which carries interest expense rather than cost of sales as its offsetting cost, so it is not a margin on the total revenue line.
- "total_borrowings" is the sum of the three borrowing captions on the balance sheet: short-term borrowings, short-term securitization borrowings and long-term borrowings. Most of this debt funds the Financial Services receivable and lease book rather than the manufacturing business.
- "free_cash_flow" is net cash provided by operating activities less purchases of property and equipment. It does not deduct the cost of equipment on operating leases acquired, which is reported separately here; for a company with a captive leasing business that outlay is large, so both figures are carried so a reader can strike the measure they prefer.
- No three-month cash flow statement exists for either quarter. The 10-Q presents cash flows for the nine months only, and the company's third-quarter earnings release (accession 0001104659-26-098904) reproduces the same nine-month statement, so quarterly cash flow is reported in the year-to-date block rather than inside the quarters.
- The trailing-twelve-month block is derived, not printed: fiscal 2025 as reported in the 10-K, plus the nine months ended August 2, 2026, less the nine months ended July 27, 2025, both as reported in the 10-Q. Its diluted per-share figure and weighted diluted share count are derived the same way and are labelled as derived.
- The "segments" and "business_unit_results" blocks are disaggregations of the consolidated statements and do not add to the consolidated totals. Segment revenues include intersegment income (primarily between Financial Services and the three equipment segments) that is eliminated in consolidation, and segment operating profit is struck before corporate interest, pension and other post-employment benefit credits outside service cost, corporate items and income taxes. "business_unit_results" comes from the supplemental consolidating data the company publishes, which splits the enterprise into equipment operations and Financial Services before intercompany eliminations.
- In fiscal 2025 the consolidated income statement reports no amount for equity in income (loss) of unconsolidated affiliates; that line is carried as zero here and net income equals income of the consolidated group for the year.
- In February 2025 Deere completed the sale of a 50% interest in its Brazilian subsidiary Banco John Deere S.A. and deconsolidated it; the business had been classified as held for sale at October 27, 2024, which is why the fiscal 2024 balance sheet carries assets and liabilities held for sale that do not recur in fiscal 2025. Results of the retained 50% interest are now reported in equity in income (loss) of unconsolidated affiliates within the Financial Services segment.
- Figures are stated in actual U.S. dollars. The filings print them in millions; per-share amounts are actual dollars per share and share counts are actual shares.
Uncertainties
- No quarterly (three-month) cash flow figures are published anywhere in the FY2025 10-K or the Q3 FY2026 10-Q, and the six-month comparison needed to derive them by difference is not on the face of either filing. Operating cash flow, capital expenditure and free cash flow are therefore available for fiscal years and for the nine-month year-to-date periods only.
- The trailing-twelve-month diluted earnings per share (17.99) and weighted diluted share count (270.9 million) are derived by combining periods, not taken from any single reported column. Weighted-average share counts are not strictly additive across periods, so the derived share count is an approximation; the income and cash-flow totals in that block are exact sums and differences of reported figures.
- Fiscal 2025 contained 53 weeks against 52 in fiscal 2024 and 2023, and the trailing-twelve-month period inherits that extra week. Year-over-year comparisons involving fiscal 2025 or the trailing twelve months are not strictly like-for-like on length.
- The 10-K states that certain prior period amounts have been reclassified to conform to current period presentation. No reclassification large enough to change a reported total for fiscal 2024 or fiscal 2023 was identified, but the company does not quantify what was reclassified.
- Fiscal 2023 is reported here without a balance sheet because the FY2025 10-K does not present one for that year.

FAQ · Deere financial statements
How much revenue did Deere report in Q3 FY2026?
Deere & Company reported $12.61 billion in net sales and revenues for Q3 FY2026, the quarter ended August 2, 2026. That is up 4.9% from $12.02 billion in the same quarter a year earlier, of which $11.00 billion was equipment net sales and the remainder finance and interest income and other income.
What was Deere's net income in Q3 FY2026?
Deere & Company reported net income attributable to Deere of $1.38 billion for Q3 FY2026, up 7.0% from $1.29 billion in the same quarter a year earlier. The increase came mainly from favorable price realization, partly offset by unfavorable tax impacts and higher production costs.

Operating profit across Deere's four segments totaled $1.86 billion in Q3 FY2026, up 18.4% from $1.57 billion a year earlier. Construction and forestry and small agriculture and turf drove the gain on higher shipment volumes and price realization, while production and precision agriculture profit fell on lower volumes in Brazil and Europe.

The most recent periodic report on file is the 10-Q for Q3 FY2026, the period ended 2026-08-02, SEC accession 0001104659-26-102213.

How this page was built
This page was built from three of Deere & Company's own filings with the SEC, read one at a time. Nothing on it is taken from a pre-tagged dataset, a data vendor or another website. The figures are on the company's own fiscal calendar and in actual dollars, as the filings report them. Where the filings do not support a figure, the record says so instead of reporting a zero; this period names five such gaps.
A single company files thousands of pages with the SEC in a year, and no two companies file them the same way, so the reading and the assembly here are done by AI rather than by rules that break on the differences. Every pass is then audited back against the filings it came from before the page is published, and anything the filings do not support is left out and named rather than filled in. AI can still make mistakes. That is why the accession numbers are printed: the filing is the authority, and this page is a route to it.
