Cisco Systems reported $63.33 billion in revenue for FY2026, the fiscal year ended July 25, 2026, up 11.8% from a year earlier, and net income of $13.27 billion, up 30.3%, with diluted earnings per share of $3.33 against $2.55 a year earlier. The growth was concentrated in networking, where revenue of $34.67 billion was up 22.5% on demand for AI infrastructure from hyperscaler customers, while operating income of $15.37 billion was up 30.7%, outpacing revenue growth and widening Cisco's operating margin. Free cash flow of $12.77 billion was down 3.9%, even as net income was up 30.3%, the decline reflecting higher capital spending rather than weaker cash from operations, alongside cash committed to inventory and supplier prepayments for constrained memory supply.

Basisderived by differenceas reportedas reported (year-ago comparative column of the Q3 FY2026 10-Q)
DerivationCisco's 10-Q prints only cumulative nine-month cash flows, and no quarterly column at all; the figures for this quarter are the fiscal 2026 full-year amounts in the 10-K less the nine months ended April 25, 2026 printed in the 10-Q (accession 0000858877-26-000078). The 10-K's own fourth-quarter discussion corroborates the result: it reports fourth-quarter revenue of $17.3 billion, up 18%, with product revenue of $13.5 billion, up 24%, and services revenue flat at $3.8 billion.

NotesNo stock splits are on record for Cisco in the period these filings cover, and the shares are common stock rather than depositary receipts, so per-share figures are reported exactly as the filings print them.

Notes

  • All figures come from two filings: Cisco's Form 10-K for fiscal 2026, filed September 2, 2026 (accession 0000858877-26-000132), and its Form 10-Q for the third quarter of fiscal 2026, filed May 19, 2026 (accession 0000858877-26-000078). Because the annual report is the more recent of the two, the 10-Q covers a quarter inside the fiscal year the 10-K reports.
  • Cisco's fiscal year ends on the last Saturday of July, so the periods are 52- or 53-week rather than calendar periods and the dates are not month-ends. Fiscal 2026 ended July 25, 2026, fiscal 2025 ended July 26, 2025 and fiscal 2024 ended July 27, 2024; each was a 52-week year, and each quarter shown here is 13 weeks. The period start and end dates are the filings' own.
  • The 10-K presents three fiscal years of the statements of operations and cash flows (2026, 2025 and 2024) but only two balance sheet dates (July 25, 2026 and July 26, 2025). Fiscal 2024 therefore carries an income statement and a cash flow statement and no balance sheet.
  • The fourth quarter of fiscal 2026 is not printed as a column in either filing. It is derived here by subtracting the nine months ended April 25, 2026, as reported in the 10-Q, from the full fiscal 2026 amounts reported in the 10-K. Every derived subtotal ties to its own components, and the result matches the fourth-quarter discussion in the 10-K, which reports revenue up 18% to $17.3 billion, product revenue up 24% to $13.5 billion and services revenue flat at $3.8 billion, with Networking up 28%, Security up 14%, Collaboration up 12% and Observability up 6%.
  • The first and second quarters of fiscal 2026 are not included. Neither the 10-K nor the 10-Q presents those quarters on the face of its statements: the 10-Q prints the third quarter and the nine months, and the 10-K prints the full year, which is what makes the fourth quarter recoverable by subtraction and the first two quarters not. They were reported in Cisco's quarterly earnings releases, which are furnished separately.
  • The 10-Q's statement of cash flows is presented for the nine months only, with no three-month column, so no cash flow figures are stated for the third quarter of fiscal 2026 or the third quarter of fiscal 2025. The nine-month cash flows for both years are in the year-to-date block.
  • The balance sheet attached to the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026 is the fiscal year-end balance sheet at July 25, 2026 as printed in the 10-K; balance sheet items are point-in-time and are not derived by subtraction. The third quarter of fiscal 2026 carries the balance sheet at April 25, 2026 from the 10-Q. The 10-Q does not present a balance sheet at April 26, 2025, so the third quarter of fiscal 2025 has none.
  • In the cash flow statements, capital expenditures (Cisco's "acquisition of property and equipment"), dividends paid, share repurchases, shares repurchased for tax withholdings and repayments of debt are stated as positive amounts, the way they are normally quoted. The investing and financing subtotals keep the sign the statements print. Free cash flow is operating cash flow less capital expenditures.
  • Share repurchases are taken from the cash flow statements. The 10-K's summary of other key financial measures shows fiscal 2025 repurchases under the repurchase program of $5,995 million and the 10-Q's shows $4,604 million for the first nine months of fiscal 2026, against $6,000 million and $4,605 million respectively in the cash flow statements; the difference is settlement timing.
  • Total debt is short-term debt plus long-term debt and matches the total debt Cisco reports in the 10-K's summary of other key financial measures ($29,533 million at July 25, 2026 and $28,093 million at July 26, 2025).
  • Remaining performance obligations and deferred revenue are carried in the balance sheet block because they measure contracted revenue not yet recognized. Remaining performance obligations are deferred revenue plus unbilled contract revenue; Cisco expects to recognize about 49% of the July 25, 2026 balance as revenue within twelve months.
  • Subscription revenue and the product-category and geographic splits are disaggregations of the same total revenue line, not additions to it. Cisco reports its segments geographically (Americas, EMEA and APJC) and reports product categories separately; both are shown here for each period the filings present them.
  • The trailing twelve months shown here end on the last day of fiscal 2026 and are therefore identical to the fiscal 2026 figures; they are repeated for readers who work from a trailing-twelve-month view.
  • Where a figure appears in more than one place in these filings, the figure on the face of the statements was used.

Uncertainties

  • The fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 figures shown here are derived from the fiscal 2026 10-K and the third-quarter fiscal 2026 10-Q. Weighted-average share counts cannot be recovered by subtracting a nine-month average from a full-year average, so no per-share figure or share count is derived for the quarter in this block. Cisco reported fourth-quarter GAAP diluted earnings per share of $0.97, up 52% year over year, in its earnings release furnished August 12, 2026 (accession 0000858877-26-000106, Exhibit 99.1).
  • Every fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 figure here is a difference between two reported periods rather than a column printed on the face of the 10-K or the 10-Q. The statements are presented in millions, so a derived line could in principle differ by a rounding amount, but the derived figures match the three-month fourth-quarter columns of the earnings release furnished August 12, 2026 (accession 0000858877-26-000106, Exhibit 99.1) exactly, including revenue of $17,252 million, operating income of $4,264 million, net income of $3,859 million and operating cash flow of $5,386 million; the derived income statement and revenue splits each tie to their own components exactly.
  • Quarterly cash flow derived by subtraction is more volatile than the annual figures it comes from, because working capital, tax payments and debt activity fall unevenly across a year. The fourth-quarter cash flow lines should be read with that in mind.
  • Annualized recurring revenue is not disclosed in either of these filings, so it is not reported here. The 10-K states that fiscal 2026 total software revenue was $23.2 billion, up 4%, but does not break that figure out in a table, so it is not carried as a line item.
  • Restructuring and other charges were a credit of $1 million in the third quarter of fiscal 2026 as printed in the 10-Q, and the derived fourth quarter carries $511 million of the fiscal year's $693 million; the charge is genuinely concentrated in the fourth quarter rather than being an artifact of the subtraction.

FAQ · Cisco Systems financial statements

How much revenue did Cisco report in FY2026?

Cisco Systems reported $63.33 billion in revenue for FY2026, the fiscal year ended July 25, 2026. That is up 11.8% from $56.65 billion a year earlier.

What was Cisco's net income and earnings per share in FY2026?

Cisco Systems earned $13.27 billion in FY2026, up 30.3% from $10.18 billion a year earlier, on operating income of $15.37 billion, up 30.7%. Diluted earnings per share were $3.33 against $2.55 a year earlier.

How much of Cisco's revenue comes from networking?

Networking, Cisco's largest product category, generated $34.67 billion of Cisco's $63.33 billion in total revenue in FY2026, up 22.5% from a year earlier. Cisco attributes the increase primarily to AI infrastructure solutions, including Silicon One based systems and optics sold to hyperscaler customers.

What was Cisco's free cash flow in FY2026?

Cisco Systems generated $12.77 billion of free cash flow in FY2026, down 3.9% from $13.29 billion a year earlier, even as net income was up 30.3%. Cisco measures free cash flow as cash provided by operating activities less capital expenditures, and it committed cash through the year to capital projects and to inventory and supplier prepayments for memory and other constrained components.

How this page was built

This page was built from three of Cisco Systems, Inc.'s own filings with the SEC, read one at a time. Nothing on it is taken from a pre-tagged dataset, a data vendor or another website. The figures are on the company's own fiscal calendar and in actual dollars, as the filings report them. Where the filings do not support a figure, the record says so instead of reporting a zero; this period names five such gaps.

A single company files thousands of pages with the SEC in a year, and no two companies file them the same way, so the reading and the assembly here are done by AI rather than by rules that break on the differences. Every pass is then audited back against the filings it came from before the page is published, and anything the filings do not support is left out and named rather than filled in. AI can still make mistakes. That is why the accession numbers are printed: the filing is the authority, and this page is a route to it.
