Published
Analog Devices reported $4.02 billion in revenue for Q3 FY2026, the quarter ended August 1, 2026, up 39.6% from the same quarter a year earlier, with net income of $1.34 billion and diluted earnings per share of $2.74. Growth was led by the Industrial end market, which contributed $1.97 billion of revenue, up 52.5%, while data center demand drove the Communications business; the Empower Semiconductor acquisition completed during the quarter added an immaterial amount of revenue. Gross profit of $2.71 billion and operating income of $1.61 billion, up 97.2%, reflect higher utilization of manufacturing capacity and a richer end-market mix, and net income rose faster still because the year-ago quarter carried a one-time deferred tax charge.

- Annual figures come from Analog Devices' fiscal 2025 Form 10-K (accession 0000006281-25-000153), which presents three years of income statement and cash flow and two years of balance sheet. Quarterly, nine-month and August 1, 2026 balance-sheet figures come from the third-quarter fiscal 2026 Form 10-Q (accession 0000006281-26-000073). The three quarterly cash-flow lines for the third quarter of fiscal 2026 and for the third quarter of fiscal 2025 come from the earnings release filed as an exhibit to the Form 8-K of August 19, 2026 (accession 0000006281-26-000072).
- Analog Devices uses a 52-to-53-week fiscal year ending on the Saturday closest to the last day of October, so its quarters are 13-week periods rather than calendar quarters. Fiscal 2024 was a 53-week year (October 29, 2023 through November 2, 2024); fiscal 2025 and fiscal 2023 were 52-week years. Every period start and end date here is taken from the column headings the filings themselves print.
- The statements are printed in thousands of U.S. dollars; every amount in this record has been converted to actual U.S. dollars, and share counts to actual shares.
- Fiscal 2023 carries no balance sheet because the fiscal 2025 10-K's balance sheet presents only November 1, 2025 and November 2, 2024. For the same reason the third quarter of fiscal 2025 carries no balance sheet: the 10-Q's balance sheet presents August 1, 2026 and November 1, 2025 only.
- The 10-Q presents cash flows on a nine-month basis only; the nine months ended August 1, 2026 and August 2, 2025 are carried in the year-to-date and prior-year-to-date blocks. The three discrete cash-flow lines shown for the third quarter of fiscal 2026 and for the third quarter of fiscal 2025 -- operating cash flow, capital expenditures and free cash flow -- come instead from Analog Devices' third-quarter fiscal 2026 earnings release (accession 0000006281-26-000072), which prints a separate three-month column for each of those two quarters in thousands. They are recorded at those exact thousands, so they carry the same precision as the rest of this record.
- Total liabilities and total debt are derived: the balance sheets do not print a total-liabilities subtotal, so it is total current liabilities plus total non-current liabilities, and total debt is current debt plus commercial paper notes plus long-term debt.
- Free cash flow is derived as operating cash flow less capital expenditures, using the cash-flow line 'Additions to property, plant and equipment, net'.
- Sign conventions: cash flow lines carry the signs the filings print, so capital expenditures, dividend payments and share repurchases are negative outflows. In the income statement, interest income is recorded as a positive amount of income earned, although the filings display it as a deduction within 'Nonoperating expense (income)'. Special charges, net keeps the filing's sign, so the net credit in the third quarter of fiscal 2026 appears as a negative $24.2 million.
- All figures are as reported under U.S. GAAP. Analog Devices carries large amortization of acquisition-related intangible assets from its Maxim Integrated and Linear Technology acquisitions, $188.0 million in operating expenses in the third quarter of fiscal 2026 and $1.16 billion in total amortization across the first nine months, so the company's own adjusted, non-GAAP presentation differs widely from the amounts shown here.
- The trailing-twelve-month view is derived by adding the nine months ended August 1, 2026 to fiscal 2025 and subtracting the nine months ended August 2, 2025. For the income-statement lines that derivation is the whole basis: Analog Devices did not publish a trailing-twelve-month income statement. The cash-flow lines are independently corroborated -- operating cash flow of $5.545 billion, capital expenditures of $607.8 million and free cash flow of $4.937 billion agree to the thousand with the trailing-twelve-month column in Analog Devices' third-quarter fiscal 2026 earnings release (accession 0000006281-26-000072), and dividends paid and share repurchases agree with the rounded amounts in that release's cash-return table. No per-share amounts are shown for the period, because weighted-average share counts are not additive across periods.
- Revenue by end market and revenue by sales channel are the company's own disaggregations of the same total revenue and sum to it in every period shown. The company reclassifies prior-period end-market revenue when products are reassigned between end markets, and the 10-Q states that certain prior-year amounts have been reclassified to conform to the fiscal 2026 presentation; prior-period columns are reported here exactly as these two filings print them.
- No adjustments were required: Analog Devices has had no stock split since 2018, is not an American Depositary Receipt issuer, and reports in U.S. dollars as a domestic filer.
Uncertainties
- The 10-Q presents cash flows on a nine-month basis only and does not show a discrete three-month cash-flow statement, so the quarterly cash-flow lines here do not come from it. Analog Devices' third-quarter fiscal 2026 earnings release (accession 0000006281-26-000072) does show each quarter on its own, and the operating cash flow, capital expenditures and free cash flow recorded for the three months ended August 1, 2026 and for the three months ended August 2, 2025 are taken from it. For the fiscal 2026 quarter the release's highlights table rounds those three to $1.60 billion, $146 million and $1.46 billion; the financial tables later in the same release print them in thousands, and it is those exact amounts that are recorded here. For the year-ago quarter, operating cash flow and capital expenditures are the prior-year three-month column of that release's condensed consolidated statements of cash flows, and free cash flow is derived from them. Only those three lines are carried for each quarter; this record does not break either quarter's cash flows down further.
- No balance sheet is available for fiscal 2023 or for the quarter ended August 2, 2025; neither filing presents those dates.
- The trailing-twelve-month view has two halves that rest on different footings. The income-statement figures are an arithmetic combination of periods the company printed separately, not a column Analog Devices published; the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026 had not been reported when these filings were made. The cash-flow figures are not merely derived: operating cash flow, capital expenditures and free cash flow agree to the thousand with a trailing-twelve-month column Analog Devices published in Analog Devices' third-quarter fiscal 2026 earnings release (accession 0000006281-26-000072), and the dividends paid and share repurchases agree with the rounded amounts in that release's cash-return table. One caveat on the income-statement half: that same release shows trailing-twelve-month revenue of $13,881,544 thousand, about $0.2 million below the $13,881,744 thousand derived here from the 10-K and 10-Q columns, because the release's own quarterly revenue splits do not sum precisely to the nine-month total the 10-Q prints. The figure here follows the filed statements.
- The fiscal 2023 period start of October 30, 2022 is inferred from the fiscal 2025 10-K's statement of shareholders' equity, which opens at the October 29, 2022 balance; the income statement heading names only fiscal year-end dates.
- Third-quarter fiscal 2026 revenue of $4.02 billion is 40% above the year-ago quarter, a very large year-over-year move. It is taken directly from the face of the 10-Q's income statement and agrees with the company's segment note and its end-market and sales-channel disaggregations, all of which total the same amount.

How this page was built
This page was built from three of Analog Devices, Inc.'s own filings with the SEC, read one at a time. Nothing on it is taken from a pre-tagged dataset, a data vendor or another website. The figures are on the company's own fiscal calendar and in actual dollars, as the filings report them. Where the filings do not support a figure, the record says so instead of reporting a zero; this period names five such gaps.
A single company files thousands of pages with the SEC in a year, and no two companies file them the same way, so the reading and the assembly here are done by AI rather than by rules that break on the differences. Every pass is then audited back against the filings it came from before the page is published, and anything the filings do not support is left out and named rather than filled in. AI can still make mistakes. That is why the accession numbers are printed: the filing is the authority, and this page is a route to it.
