Terms of Use
Effective Date: July 23, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing tickerscout.ai or any of its data files — whether directly, or through software, an AI agent, or any other automated system acting on your behalf — you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the site. If an automated agent accesses the site on your behalf, you are responsible for its use and are bound by these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Ticker Scout publishes free, machine-readable fundamental data on US public companies — financial statements, narrative summaries, and event histories — built from SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K reports). Content is published in JSON and Markdown at stable URLs, with no signup, account, or API key required. The site is designed to be read by both people and AI agents. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.
3. Permitted Use and Automated Access
You may read, download, cite, and use the content on this site, including with automated tools and AI agents — such use is welcome and encouraged. When quoting or reusing the data, please attribute it to "Ticker Scout (tickerscout.ai)". You agree not to access the site in a manner intended to disrupt or degrade it, and not to misrepresent Ticker Scout content as an official SEC source.
4. Data Accuracy
All figures on this site are derived from public SEC filings, but they are not necessarily accurate. Extraction and summarization are performed with automated and AI-assisted processes, and the resulting data may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Data may also be outdated between refresh cycles. Ticker Scout cannot be held liable for any inaccuracy in the data or for any outcome resulting from reliance on it. Accession numbers are cited throughout so figures can be verified against the original filings at sec.gov; you are responsible for verifying any figure before relying on it.
5. No Investment Advice
Ticker Scout is not a registered investment adviser and does not provide investment advice. It operates as a bona fide financial publication of general and regular circulation, exempt from investment adviser registration under Section 202(a)(11)(D) of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy or sell any security. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions, and all investments carry risk, including loss of principal.
6. No Warranties
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TICKER SCOUT, LLC, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR RELIANCE ON, THE SITE OR ITS DATA — INCLUDING ANY INVESTMENT LOSS AND INCLUDING USE BY AUTOMATED AGENTS ACTING ON YOUR BEHALF. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US, WHICH IS ZERO.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time by updating this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association in the State of Colorado.
